Reo Speedwagon

The rock group REO Speedwagon was formed in 1967 after Neal Doughty and Alan Gratzer met at the University of Illinois and joined forces with other students who shared a passion for music.
The inspiration for the name came from a truck model called the REO Speed-Wagon. And that's how it stuck.
During the 1970s, the group was still building its name in the music world when, in 1980, they exploded onto the charts. Their tenth studio album, titled Hi Infidelity, released at the time, was a smash hit and sold over ten million copies – becoming the band's best-selling album to this day.
Throughout their career, REO Speedwagon has gone through several lineup changes, however, they have never stopped releasing albums and touring. The musicians are considered icons of the soft-rock genre. They have accumulated over 40 million album units sold and thirteen Top 40 hits, such as "Keep On Loving You".
Another unforgettable hit was the track "Can't Fight This Feeling," released in 1984 on the album "Wheels Are Turnin'." At the time, the single held the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for three consecutive weeks and, moreover, is considered one of the best songs of the 80s.
